Micheál joined Quigg Golden as the inaugural member of our internship programme in 2021, undertaking a one-year placement with the company as part of a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Ulster University. Since then, he has graduated with first-class honours and is now a Junior Associate within our constriction law team.
Micheál has experience on both contentious and non-contentious construction law matters across the legal jurisdictions in Northern Ireland, Ireland and England & Wales dealing with an array of complex commercial issues under all the standard forms, and many bespoke forms, of construction contracts.
Micheál has also represented clients across all forms of alternative dispute resolution proceedings and he has a particular interest in adjudication, having acted as a party representative for both referring and responding parties in adjudications under the statutory schemes in Northern Ireland, Ireland, England & Wales and Scotland.
